
1. Don't put too much music in your piano bench --- WHY--- well the bottom will fall out because the lid pushes down on the music and Presto -- You play 52 book pick-ups (almost like 52 pick-up).
2. Don't use PLEDGE on the piano bench. In humid conditions, you will stick to it.
3. Putting jars of water in the bottom of the piano does not help with the humidity conditions as there is very little air circulation, and the water does not evaporate quickly enough to help the wood.
4. Air conditioning only removes humidity at a given temperature. At 100 degrees the air has a certain amount of humidity in it. As you reduce the temperature the humidity level remains unchanged.
